Taproot Makes it Matter with New Website Launch
I don't know about you but I'm all about premieres, grand openings and debuts. Something about being a part of the unveiling of something new...it just thrills me. Add to that list website re-launches. They too make me happier than a kid at Christmas. Really. I’m being serious. So with that said, this past Tuesday was a good day. That was the day that the Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit organization that makes business talent available to organizations working to improve society, re-launched their organizational website.Although I got a sneak peek of the site earlier, I was still looking forward to when it would actually go live. Anchored by the new tag line, 'Make it Matter,' it features a well-produced video in which the organization's founder and President, Aaron Hurst, details the organization’s history, mission and challenges professionals like you and me to step into the realm of Pro Bono.Be sure to check out the “Pro Bono Junkie’s Blog” and take in the stories of those who have already made a commitment.Corporate entities can read up on strides that the Taproot Foundation has made since its inception and find out how they can be a part of the movement (can you say, “Employee volunteer programs do a CSR plan good”?)The website re-launch was a pro bono project and is the kick-off to implementing a brand-spanking-new strategic plan.Check it out and while you’re at it, let me know your plans on how you will 'Make it Matter.'
