How you doin?
When NYC looks like this, you start taking mental vacations....With that said, I so wouldn't mind being on a real vacation at the present and Barcelona, Spain would be sublime.Starting today, the city will play host to the Doing Good and Doing Well Conference (DGDW). DGDW is a two-day event with interactive panel discussions and keynote speeches on major opportunities and challenges faced by responsible businesses and organizations. The conference attracts students and professionals from around the world, and is organized by IESE, a top-ranked business school, and Net Impact, an international nonprofit whose mission is to inspire, educate, and equip individuals to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world."By challenging participants to consider the potential for sustainable developments, the DGDW conference helps to develop innovative strategies and business models, as well as foster meaningful relationships between industry professionals and graduate students."Confirmed keynote speakers for the conference include Zein Abdalla, CEO of PepsiCo Europe, and Michel Camdussus, Managing Director of the IMF, 1987-2000.Ok, you know I'm a CSR geek when a conference is my idea of a vacay.*sigh*Have a great weekend, folks!
